Butterfly Garden Cottage takes home PLATINUM at Best in American Living Awards

We shared our excitement when we were nominated…and we’re beyond thrilled to share our Butterfly Garden Cottage at Kiawah River was awarded Platinum at the Best in American Living Awards (BALAs) held earlier this month. Hosted by The National Association of Home Builders, the BALA Awards recognize excellence in the craft of home building.

The Butterfly Cottages are a collaboration years in the making and the creation of an unmatchable trifecta: a brilliant designer, beloved
builder, and coveted island location. The Butterfly Garden Cottage celebrates a holistic approach to living. Optimal livable space, layered with high-end details and commercial-grade appliances, creates a property for a custom buyer that is luxurious in both form and function.

Built by yours truly and designed by architect Starr Sanford Design Associates, with interiors by McLaurin Parker, this home is designed to celebrate traditional southern indoor-outdoor living.
