Saussy Burbank returned from the annual International Builder Show in Las Vegas with a Best in American Living™ Award (BALA) for the company’s model home at Nexton in Summerville, S.C. The company won the silver award for its model, The Cypress.
“The BALA award is one of the building industry’s highest honors,” said Al McNeill, a partner in Saussy Burbank. “We are humbled and ecstatic to have won our second BALA award and gratified that our industry recognizes our top-quality craftsmanship, design aesthetic and our homes’ livability.”
The 2,833-square-foot, two-story Cypress offers four bedrooms; three-and-a-half baths; a master suite downstairs; a charming, wraparound front porch; an open floor plan; the convenience of a mud room; and the spaciousness and flexibility afforded by a large loft.
Nexton is a modern, walkable community with more than 2,000 acres of parks and a trail network of more than 50 miles. Nexton Square features a mix of offices, shops, restaurants and hotels and is just a walk or bike ride away from every home in the community. Despite the most modern amenities, such as GigaFi – South Carolina’s first gigabit broadband service being available in every home and business – the community has all the charm of historic Lowcountry communities.
