First closing in Oakhurst pocket neighborhood

Saussy Burbank is celebrating its first home closing in the Cottages at Oakhurst. The pocket neighborhood of 16 new homes is in Charlotte’s Oakhurst community, located along the fast redeveloping Monroe Road Corridor.

Charlotte’s 505 Design Group provided the architectural design. The first phase of eight homes is selling quickly with five homes sold. All 16 homes are expected to sell and close in 2018 with prices averaging in the mid $400s.

Oakhurst is just five miles from Uptown Charlotte and two miles from Cotswold’s retail, dining and grocery stores. Popular local deli, the Common Market, just opened a location in Oakhurst at Monroe Rd. and Commonwealth Ave.

Only three new homes remain in the first phase, with lot 3 available to close in March.
